About Ashe
Ashe Malkamäki is a Finnish-Texan, aroace, transgender man currently residing in Texas, USA. Since he was a small child, Ashe always loved the stage and is proud to perform on stage for a living. A dancer since he was four, an actor since he was twelve, and a burlesque performer since he was 18, Ashe is multi-talented and continues to absorb all that he can about the world around him.
Cosplay has been part of Ashe's life since 2010. He has been a guest at conventions such as AMA-Con 2017 and 2018, PokéFest 2017, Animania Wichita Falls 2018, Magic City Adventure Experience 2020, Kilgore Geekend 2021. He has hosted panels for over six years. He was the J-Fashion ambassador for Delta H Con for three years. Ashe also manages a nerdy burlesque troupe, Texan Heat Nerdlesque, who has also appeared at numerous conventions, for over five years. He won "Best Performance" at San Japan's Ani-Idol 2015 and now performs regularly across different states. He works closely with Flow Toys, a flow arts company, and he currently studies both aerial and flow arts. Even when not performing, Ashe exposes himself to his craft through working in fabric retail! Ashe more recently discovered a passion for film and is now studying to become a horror film director and screenwriter. He is currently working on short fan-films based on Dead By Daylight, a horror video game. He hopes to film these projects in 2022!
Aside from cosplaying and performing. Ashe is also planning on opening up "Ashes to Slashes" a primarily horror-themed artist alley booth featuring a variety of different items from hygienic items to artwork, to resin products. He is looking forward to showcasing his work at a convention near you!
